Led Car - Privacy Policy
1) Overview
Led Car is designed to be privacy-first. It is an offline utility that helps you calculate resistor values for LED upgrades in your vehicle. The App does not create accounts, does not include analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs, and does not collect or transmit personal data to the developer.
2) Data controller
Salvatore Boemia (the “Developer”), independent developer of the App, is the data controller for the limited processing described here. You can reach the Developer regarding this policy at salvatoreboemia.dev@gmail.com.
3) What data the App processes
The App works entirely on your device. Values you enter for calculations and any preferences are processed locally and, where saved, stored only in the App’s local storage on your device (for example, iOS user defaults). This information never leaves your device through the App and is not accessible to the Developer.
4) Permissions
The App does not request access to contacts, location, camera, microphone, photos, health data, or other sensitive device data.
5) Analytics, advertising and tracking
None. There are no third-party analytics, no advertising networks and no cross-app or cross-site tracking. The App does not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA) and does not present App Tracking Transparency prompts.
6) Third parties
The App itself does not share data with third parties. Because the App is distributed through the Apple App Store, Apple may process limited information (such as download and diagnostic data) under Apple’s own privacy policy, independently of the Developer.
7) Legal bases (GDPR)
To the extent any processing occurs on your device, it relies on the performance of the service you request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and the Developer’s legitimate interest in providing a functional app (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). No special-category data is processed.
8) Data retention
Locally stored preferences remain on your device until you delete them or uninstall the App. The Developer holds no personal data on any server and therefore performs no server-side retention.
9) Security
Because data stays on your device, its protection depends on your device security (passcode, encryption, system updates). Keep your device and operating system up to date.
10) Children
The App is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children under 16.
11) Your rights
Because the Developer does not hold your personal data, rights such as access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability can be exercised directly by managing or deleting the data on your device. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
12) International use
As no personal data is transmitted to the Developer, the App performs no international transfer of your personal data.
13) Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated from time to time. Changes are published on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
